Gault&Millau Croatia celebrated the release of the ninth edition of the bilingual international guide to Croatia on Tuesday, March 17, in the Emerald Hall of the Esplanade Hotel Zagreb and awarded the annual trophies to ten new laureates. Food and chefs
Guests enjoyed dishes created by Esplanade's restaurant chef Ana Grgić Tomić and guest chef Francesco Marchese from the Michelin-starred Fre restaurant at Réva Resort in the Langhe region.

Wines
At the welcome cocktail, the guests drank prosecco Ruggeri Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze brut, and later in the evening they enjoyed wines from the Croatian wineries Mladina from Jastrebarsko, Josić from Zmajevac in Baranja, and Kozlović from Buje in Istria. The Barolo Cannubi wine that was poured with the main course came from the Italian winery Réva from the town of Monforte d'Alba, as did the guest chef Francesco Marchese, who cooked that evening together with Ana Grgić Tomić - the chef of the Esplanade kitchen

President
Along with a welcome drink, guests enjoyed the cheese bar of the golden partner Président, and all restaurant chefs will have the opportunity to try the new cream and butter from the Président line for professionals - Professionnel. The Chef of the Year also received a trolley of Président cheeses as a gift.

La Lorraine Bakery
During the welcome drink, guests enjoyed the rich assortment of La Lorraine Bakery group, while their excellent pastries were served during the gala dinner.

Plates and Lexus
The chefs' culinary creations were served on Duke Group plates. Along with the menu on the table, guests were also greeted with a QR code to access the Lexus website and view the exclusive LM
– Luxury Mover vehicle available for the first time in Croatia, and they had the opportunity to apply
for a drive and try it out in person.

Tourist boards
As a special partner, the promotion of the guide was supported by the Croatian National Tourist Board, as well as the Tourist Boards of Kvarner, Split-Dalmatia, Zadar, Šibenik-Knin and Zagreb Counties, the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb and the Tourist Boards of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem.
