Gault&Millau Croatia 2026 Kvarner

On Monday, April 20, at the Kastav hotel and restaurant Kukuriku, Gault&Millau Croatia and the Kvarner Tourist Board presented the new regional edition of the prestigious Gault&Millau Croatia 2026 Kvarner guide. The presentation of the guide and the award ceremony were attended by more than a hundred guests: chefs, restaurateurs, winemakers, local producers and brand ambassadors of the Kvarner European Region of Gastronomy.

Snacks and wines

Savory and sweet delicacies with the flavors of spring were prepared by the culinary team of the Kukuriku restaurant, whose owner Nenad Kukurin won the Gault&Millau Chef trophy for modern traditional cuisine in 2023. Kvarner sparkling wine, Žlahtina, Belica and Sansigot were drunk.

About the G&M guide

Gault&Millau Croatia 2026 Kvarner includes 80 restaurants of various formats, from taverns, bistros and fine dining to pizzerias, pastry shops and bars. 11 wineries gathered under the Vina Kvarnera brand are also included, in a total of 32 cities and towns in the region.

The recommendations and ratings in the guide are based on independent visits by anonymous reviewers, who evaluate each restaurant according to internationally harmonized criteria. This approach has made Gault&Millau one of the most trusted and respected gastronomic guides in the world for more than six decades.
